Mary Luz Mejia will be bringing 7 Latin American chefs living/working in Toronto together at Caju on Queen West for a very memorable, delicious night. We'll have Torito's chef Luis Valenzuela, Frida Restaurant and Bar's Jose Hadad, Sabrosito's Carlos Fuenmayor, Surkl Empanada's Marina Queirolo, Mario Cassini of Caju, Steven Gonzalez of Latin 5 Spice Catering and Elizabeth Rumebe of Alpine Bakery each preparing a stellar course of food that reflects their cultural heritage and passion. Sommelier Drew Innes will pair each course with fine Latin American wines. Tickets available through Torito (Veronica Laudes), Frida Restaurant and Bar (Jose Hadad), any of the participating chefs or Mary Luz Mejia. Proceeds from this first-of-a-kind event in Toronto will be donated to Youth Link in support of vulnerable youth and their parents or caregivers living in the GTA.
